I've been here quite a few times since it's located very close to my work. I've been to both restaurants upstairs and the quick service on the lower level. I prefer la pasta/la pizza since it's more casual than the Terra restaurant. Their taste of Eataly specials are great. Okay service and good food. Their quick counter service downstairs is convenient. Prices are high but their location is convenient. Their coffee is good and their pastries are tasty. Over priced? Yes. Convenient? Yes. Likely will be back soon for a quick bite.

Quick Summary: - 3 floors to either shop and eat and each are organized by theme - The third floor is the largest with a grocery and a restaurant - Second floor is wine - First floor is takeout styled food such as sandwiches, pizzas, gelato, petite cakes - There is indoor and outdoor seating This was one of the places we wanted to try as soon as we arrived at this large mall. We have visited one in Chicago, and we liked the experience there so we are happy that another one is located closer to where we live. We arrived here to have lunch of small bites and then explore elsewhere. Eataly has a total of three floors. A short summary for each of the floors: the first floor has more takeout easy foods, second floor is wines, and the third floor is restaurants and a grocery. We focused on choosing food on the first floor for lunch. After some exploring, we learned at the line close to entrance from the inside mall is for gelato and sweets. The one, where the entrance is close from the outside is for savory dishes, like sandwiches and pizza slices. As our first visit, we chose the tonno panini and the cotto de straccciatella. The staff warmed the dishes for us. Both of the dishes were handed in a nice takeout box with a lid, so if we were full we could take it home. We came here an hour before the common lunch time, so there were seats inside to sit down (That day, the temperature was hot to sit outside, even before noon hours). Our first impression, these dishes were fantastic! The bread that was used in the panini was so crispy and controlled the fillings inside so well. I loved the sesame topped on it, so each bite had a toasty sesame flavor. The bread also withstood the filling, event the tuna salad, so it didn't grow moist. The heirloom tomatoes had great flavor and it brought a great freshness punch to the sandwich. The tuna salad was nice, but my sibling thought it had a little bit fishy (they are less tolerable to fishiness) Another praise for the pizza. I was impressed with the milky flavor of the melted mozzarella. It didn't taste cheesy at all, more creamy than cheesy, so I loved this part of the pizza greatly. I loved the prosciutto as well, a gentle flavor with no saltiness. Also, very tender that I didn't need my teeth to bite in. On this day, those two were the dishes I ate. This is one of the restaurants I will travel all the way from the East Bay to visit again. I would definitely come back here to try their other restaurants -- such as their pasta, their cakes, or their gelato.

Similar to the Eataly in Westfield Century City in SoCal (no surprise since both are Westfields). Multiple floors of Italian foods, goods, wine and spirits, tastings, and a restaurant as well. It's a must stop if you're at the mall or have never gone to Eataly as there is so much to look at, taste, and purchase. You can get gelato, pastries, order from their deli for some meats and cheeses, get hot pizza or pasta, breads, or dine in at their sit down restaurant. They have holiday special set meals and they also make their pasta fresh in house as well. We came later in the day so most of these were already closed or done for the day and the samples people were checked out too. Regardless, it is a fun stop to grab a quick bite to eat (their flat bread pizzas are a unique and nice hot snack) or to grab a slightly "fancier" gift for friends or family.

I liked my caprese a lot more this time than the last one I had weeks before. The cheese balls were not that great though. They hear everything up for you. This place can get packed. I left my keys inside of a small bag I left on one of the tables when I switched tables on accident and one of the other customers informed the front of the house. Luckily I managed to get them back.

I was mesmerized looking at the choices of desserts and all the exquisite food items. This place made me happy to the core. The staff here is very friendly. We could not eat at the Terra as we didn't reserve the table in advance and there was a long wait. However we enjoyed our dinner at their other restaurant La Pizza La Pasta followed by desserts from their first floor bakery. Lovely atmosphere. Given the various things on 3 floors, this place is perfect for families as well as for date nights. If you want something to grab something on the go or to have a proper sit down dinner, it's all here and most importantly it's delicious!!

This store is a culinary paradise, offering a wide range of Italian products, from pasta to wines. Two restaurants inside serve up authentic Italian dishes, transporting you to the streets of Italy with every bite. La Pizza & La Pasta: Authentic and fresh Italian food, however it's not mind blowingly amazing. Some pasta dishes lack flavor, but I can tell the ingredients sourced are all fresh and organic.
